ELEVATIONS

When creating plans with exterior penetrations of buildings, it's often required to provide elevations for permitting. Using AutoCAD and Google Earth I produced this elevation of 1402 NE 65th St in Seattle.

FLOOR PLANS

Using AutoCAD MEP I’ve worked with teams of engineers to design plans for a wide variety of clients. This plan shows how we intend to route ducting, refrigerant and gas piping throughout a car dealership.

SCHEDULES

Schedules are important for locating necessary information quickly, so it is imperative that the layout is clean, clear, and organized. For these schedules I was responsible for going through equipment submittals and descriptive design plans to input the pertinent data into these tables.

REVISIONS

Often we aren’t given the entire picture and we need to fill in the missing details. Using partial elevations I was able to recreate the areas we needed to see for this building in SoDo Seattle.

Plans like these will often come back from our partnered contractors requiring revisions that range from minor placement changes, to numerous complete overhauls before we are finally ready to submit the plans for permit clearance.

DETAILS

Details need to clearly communicate how equipment is to be installed in the field. By coordinating with our engineers, project managers and contractors, I am able to deliver simple and easy to understand details so that each installation is done perfectly each and every time.

BIM

Larger projects, like this six story residence building, require lots of work and attention to details. I’ve worked with teams to produce many sets of intricate plans using Revit, Bluebeam and Navisworks. Working together we are able to meet our deadlines and build plans everyone can be proud of.
